Leslee LeRoux named new member of Metropolitan State Foundation Board

Saint Paul, Minn.— Metropolitan State University has named a new member, Leslee LeRoux, to the Metropolitan State Foundation Board of Trustees. 

Leslee LeRoux is the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at TKDA, an engineering, architecture and planning firm that has been serving public and private clients for more than 109 years from its headquarters in downtown Saint Paul, and offices across the country. She and her team support six diverse operating divisions, and she also leads the firm’s community relations, corporate communications, and giving initiatives. 

She was instrumental in establishing TKDA’s corporate giving program that supports STEM education in underserved k-12 schools, awards scholarships for higher education and supports community enrichment initiatives.

"TKDA is committed to enhancing educational opportunities for students as a pathway to employment. I want to help make connections between Saint Paul business leaders looking for their next employees and the excellent students at Metro State," she says.

She is a member of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and its Executive and Diversity committees, and also serves of the board of the Saint Paul Downtown YMCA. 

“Leslee’s passionate support of diversity, equity, and inclusion was evident from our first meeting,” says Rita Dibble, Vice President for University Advancement. “I am so pleased to have her leadership augment the strength of the Foundation Board.”

The mission of the Metropolitan State University Foundation is to generate maximum public awareness, as well as governmental and private support, for Metropolitan State University, and to assist the university in its development as a comprehensive, urban university in the Twin Cities metropolitan area for changing and diverse student needs.
